Disability Awareness and Spelling Bee

Elementary students at Blackville School had a busy morning on Wednesday, May 29. They participated in activities for Disability Awareness Week and also held a spelling bee. Theatre Arts 120 Performance Received Recognitions at Drama Festival

The Theatre Arts 120 Class received ten recognitions at the annual High School Drama Festival. The cast of fifteen travelled to Fredericton last Thursday and Friday to perform.

The play Check Please 2/3 by Jonathan Rand received two Special Adjudicator's mentions for "Outstanding Ensemble Environment" and Outstanding Attention to Detail." There was also a recognition for "Outstanding Production."

Seven recognitions for "Outstanding Supporting Actor" went to Shawn Hallihan, Nicole Sullivan, Nolan Donovan, Valeja Birnbach, Marissa Donohue, Josie Coulter, and Jackson Hallihan.

Choir and Band Spring Concert

Blackville School held its annual Choir and Band Spring Concert on Tuesday evening, May 14. Both the Elementary Choir and Blackville School Girls' Choir performed along with the Blackville School Jazz Band and Grade 9U Instrumental Class. Various vocal soloists were also featured.
