The Senior Boys Basketball  team picked up a huge win Wendesday night when they headed to Minto for an exhibition game against the second place team in the East.

The boys battled hard all game against this strong Minto squad. This game went to overtime when a Minto player made 2 out of 3 foul shots with no time remaining in the fourth quarter. At the end of the fourth it was all tied up 88-88. The Eagles were determined to pull this one out in overtime only allowing Minto to score 4 points in 5 minutes. They accomplished this with a score of 97-92.

Leading the way for the Eagles was Daniel Richard with 44 points, Jesse Frenette with his career high 36 points, Jacob Mercer with 11 point, Noah Donovan, Calvin Keenan and Devon Edwards with 2 points each.

The Senior Girls Basketball team headed to Stanley Friday night and faced off against a very strong and high ranked Stanley Blue Devils squad. They lost this one by a score of 77-51. The coaches believe the girls can compete with this Blue Devils squad, but they have to become better shooters and make their open looks.

Wednesday night the girls headed to Minto with the boys for an exhibition tilt. The girls won this one by a score of 49-36. The girls didn't have much trouble in this one, which is a good sign as they showed they can defeat another Eastern team. Leading the way for the Eagles in this one was Abby Donovan with 20 points, Olivia Buggie with 13 points, Tori Sullivan with 8 points, Shelby Furlong with 6 points, and Reese Urquhart with 2 points.
