Preston Gillespie opened up the scoring for our Eagles. Aaron Walls recorded another hat-trick on the season during his 4 goal night. Walls also had 3 assists. Garett Donahue recorded his first hat-trick of the season and had 1 assist. Peyton Gillespie also recorded a hat-trick. Maguire Gillespie had 2 goals and 2 assists; Carson Grattan had 1 goal and 2 assists; Affiliate Preston Gillespie scored a goal and 5 assists while affiliate Hudson Underhill also recorded a goal. Devon Underhill had 1 goal and 4 assists on the night while Avery Brennan recorded 1 goal and 2 assists. Desmond Curtis had 3 assists while Ty Croft had 1 assist.
Emotions were running high during the tilt and some suspensions were given out. Avery Brennan and Captain Denver Donovan will be missed greatly as they ride out their suspensions.
The Eagles returned to action Saturday afternoon to take on Sir James Dunn Academy. Our boys came out firing as usual and defeated the Academy 7-1. Aaron Walls opened up the scoring within the first 2 minutes of the first period. Garett Donahue recorded another hat-trick. Aaron Walls had 1 goal and an assist. Preston Gillespie recored 1 goal and 2 assists. Ethan Whalen and Peyton Gillespie had one goal each. Maguire Gillespie recorded 2 assists on the afternoon while Drake Donovan had 1 goal.
The Senior Girls Hockey team had the week off as their game was rescheduled. They have been practicing up as they head to Neguac on Sunday to take on CSCLF. Good Luck to our girls!

Points leaders in this one were Jesse Frenette with 29, Daniel Richard with 23, Devon Edwards with 13, Jacob Mercer with 12, Spencer Mullin and Keaton Walls with 4 each, Samuel Keenan with 3, Dan MacVicar with 2.
The real story of this game was Devon Edwards playing his first high school game of the season. He scored 13 easily, and showed he will be a great asset to the boys moving forward.
The Senior Girls Basketball team spent their week in the gym practicing. They have been preparing for their big home tournament beginning on Friday. Don't forget to come out and support your Eagles this weekend!

In Middle School Boys Basketball action, the boys picked up another big win by a score of 47-27 in another league game against Gretna Green. The boys are now 2-1 and are expected to be a powerhouse in their league this season. They have been living up to the hype having some huge games in the tier one league.
In Middle School Girls Basketball action the girls lost a close one to Natoaganeg by a score of 46-40. The girls fought hard in the final minutes of the fourth quarter almost completing a huge comeback, but they came up just short. The girls showed great effort and hustle throughout the entire game. Leading the way for the Eagles in this one was Abigail Mcevoy with 19 points, Michaela Theriault with 6 points, Jayda MacDonald with 5 points, Emma Hallihan and Ayesha Colford with 4 each, and Jorja Donovan with 2.
