Grade 9 student Austin McCormack is the High Student of the Week (April 12-16). Austin was nominated by Mr. D. Haché.

Blackville School Celebrates and Supports Elsipogtog First Nation for Hockeyville 2021
For many students and staff at Blackville School, supporting Elsipogtog First Nation in Hockeyville 2021 brought back many memories. The school was active in supporting Renous in 2019, and Renous won that year.
Students and staff celebrated Elsipogtog First Nation's bid in the competition with a Kraft Hockeyville Day on Thursday and Jersey Day on Friday.
On Friday, middle and high school students and staff were encouraged to vote for Elsipogog First Nation. The First Nation community is one of four finalist and voting is open until Saturday, 6 pm.

Ms. Mutch, who teaches Dramatic Arts, said that Owen comes to class with "a great attitude and is willing to participate in anything asked of him. He encourages and hypes up his classmates during their performances which enhances the drama experience."

The Middle School classes of the month for February and March are Mr. A. Loggie's Grade 6 class and Ms. P. Davidson's Grade 8 class.
These two classes were chosen for following school rules and maintaining a friendly and well-mannered classroom environment. They constantly used their manners and always remained cheerful.
