Special Design Challenge for Students

The Department of Education and Early Childhood Development announces a special Design Challenge for students across the province.

Students of all ages are invited to create original artwork that will represent the "schools’ vibrant cultural and linguistic diversity."

The image will be featured on products such as mugs, card, and/or stickers that EECD will share with colleagues, educators and partners in education.

The goal of the challenge is to provide students with an opportunity to create an original design with real- world applications.

One logo will be chosen for each of the following grade level categories: K-2,  3-5, 6-8 and 9-12.

The chosen artwork will be one that captures the unique, inclusive and vibrant nature of the schools and provincial pride in cultural diversity and inclusivity.

The creator of each of the four chosen designs will receive a professionally framed copy of their work, along with a mug, card or sticker featuring their design.

For more information, see your teacher and you can also see more details by clicking here.

New Brunswick International Student Program

International Students 2021-22: Emma Byl, Taina Abe Rosa,
Ana Garcia, Fernanda Di Lorio Bellarosa
The NB International Student Program (NBISP) is seeking host families for visiting international students ages 12-18 for short term stays (2-4 months), one semester, and a full school year. International students come to NB for a cultural experience, to attend school and activities, improve their English, and live with a New Brunswick family. This program gives an international experience to families and schools; opening our minds and educating all of us on other countries and cultures.

Host families are to provide students with their own bedroom, nutritious meals, and Wi-Fi, but what makes our hosts the BEST is they welcome the student as a member of the family. Homestay families do receive a stipend of $750/month to cover expenses.
