High School Student of the Week

Grade 11 student Breanna Curtis is the High School Student of the Week. She was nominated by Mrs. J. Underhill.

Mrs. Underhill said, "Breanna is a very hard worker in English 112. She is a cooperative and pleasant student. During our literature circles, Breanna is focused and a valued reading group member. Keep up the great work, Breanna." 

The other students nominated are Tyra Martin, Kamrynn McAllister, Hailey Singer and Bryce Underhill.

Student Work Showcase and Radio Launch

The Blackville School MakerSpace hosted the PowerPlay Young Entrepreneurs team and educators from BC, Saskatchewan and Ontario on Thursday, April 20.

Grade 6 students currently doing the program along with students involved with PYE activity block showcased their engagement and ventures. 

Students, staff, and guests also celebrated the launch of our very own Eagles Nest Radio, a radio project by Grade 11 student Stephen Brophy.

High School Student of the Week

Grade 11 student Raelyn Sherrard is the High School Student of the Week. She was nominated by Mr. A. Hallihan.

Mr. Hallihan said, "Raelyn has been a great help in the MakerSpace this semester... always willing to take on projects, a helper with Eagles Nest Radio, and a key mentor to middle school students with the PowerPlay program." 

The other students nominated are Tara Martin, Maddison Vickers, Jacob Duffy, Tessa Munn and Abby Sturgeon.

High School Student of the Week

Grade 10 student Jaclyn Gilchrist is the High School Student of the Week. She was nominated by Mrs. S. Stewart.

Mrs. Stewart said, "Jaclyn is a hard worker in Post Intensive French 10. She is always on task, works well with others and is always interested in learning new things."

The other students nominated are Travis Manderville, Blake Curtis, Kyle LeBlanc and R.J. Furlong.

High School Student of the Week

Grade 12 student Jaden Vickers is the High School Student of the Week. He was nominated by Mrs. Angela Moody.

Mrs. Moody said, "Jaden is doing a great job during his co-op. He has shown to be dependable and completes assigned tasks in a timely manner. Jaden has also shown to be a team player during this time as well."

The other students nominated are Cameron Golding, Montana Stewart, Layten Jardine, and Zachary Thibodeau.
